Hypnosis Script for Prescription Drug Addiction (e.g., Opioids, Benzodiazepines)

Warning: This hypnosis script should be administered by a trained professional. Hypnosis for addiction is a supportive tool and should be part of a comprehensive treatment plan that includes medical support and counselling. Self-hypnosis or unprofessional administration may not provide the intended benefits and could lead to unintended consequences.

Induction Phase

Sit or lie down in a comfortable position. Take a deep breath in, and as you exhale, close your eyes. Focus on your breathing, feeling each breath calm your body. Imagine a warm light at the top of your head, slowly moving down, relaxing each part of your body. Feel the light move from your head, to your shoulders, arms, chest, legs, and down to your feet.

Deepening Phase

With each breath, feel yourself getting more and more relaxed. I will count from 10 to 1. With each number, you will go deeper into relaxation. 10... feeling calm... 9... deeper relaxation... 8... more at ease... 7... deeper still... 6... feeling good... 5... halfway there... 4... deeper... 3... more relaxed... 2... almost there... 1... deeply relaxed and peaceful.

Suggestion Phase

Picture yourself standing at a crossroads. One path leads to a life controlled by prescription drugs, full of problems and pain. The other path is bright and leads to a healthy, happy life free from drugs. See yourself choosing the bright path. With every step you take, feel stronger and more in control. Say to yourself, 'I am free from drugs. I choose health. I choose life.

Visualization and Future Pacing

See yourself living a day without drugs. You wake up feeling clear-headed and energetic. You enjoy your day, feeling proud and in control. Picture yourself doing things you love, spending time with loved ones, and feeling great. Imagine how good it feels to be free from drugs, enjoying better health and happiness.

Ego-Strengthening

"You are strong. You are capable. Every day, you are getting better. You have the power to stay away from drugs. You deserve to be healthy and happy. Remember, every positive choice you make makes you stronger and more committed to a drug-free life."

Reorientation Phase

In a moment, I will count from 1 to 5. As I do, you will slowly wake up, feeling refreshed and positive. 1... starting to wake up... 2... becoming more aware... 3... bringing back the feelings of strength... 4... almost awake... 5... eyes open, fully awake, feeling wonderful and ready to live your drug-free life.

Closing

Take a moment to enjoy how good you feel. You are relaxed, confident, and strong. You carry this strength with you every day. Whenever you need to, you can come back to this calm and relaxed state, reinforcing your commitment to a drug-free life. Take a deep breath, and as you breathe out, feel grateful for the positive steps you are taking. Now, go forward with confidence and peace.
